Enlightening Minds ♦ Enriching Hearts ♦ Inspiring Future Leaders
Dear Parents,
My name is Theresa Anson and I became a part of the Sacred Heart School
community when my oldest started Kindergarten in September 1993.
Since 1998, I have worked as a substitute teacher, an aide, and a math
teacher, a fifth grade teacher before becoming principal of Sacred Heart
School in June 2024.
I am a product of the Catholic schools of the Archdiocese of Los Angeles,
having attended Saint Catherine Laboure in Torrance, Our Lady of
Perpetual Help in Newhall, and Bishop Alemany High School in Mission
Hills for a total of twelve years of Catholic education.
I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies with a Concentration in
Child Development from California State University, Stanislaus. I completed the requirements for a preliminary teaching credential at the
University of La Verne, and was issued a California State Multiple Subject
Teaching Credential in October 2013. In May 2015, I was granted a
California State Clear Multiple Subject Teaching Credential.
I strongly believe in the value of a Catholic education. My husband and I
chose to send all four of our children to both Sacred Heart School and
Paraclete High School. I feel their thirteen years in Catholic schools
prepared each of our children to become the fantastic, successful, and
compassionate adults they are.
Please come and see what a faith filled, special place Sacred Heart School is
to our parish community.
I wholeheartedly believe that “A Catholic education lasts a lifetime.”
Love and Prayers,
Mrs. Theresa Anson
