Enlightening Minds ♦ Enriching Hearts ♦ Inspiring Future Leaders
I was born and raised in the San Gabriel Valley where I attended Catholic schools for 13 years: St. Luke Elementary and Saint Lucy’s Priory High School. I graduated from Citrus College with my Associate’s in Language Arts with a concentration in Spanish and from the University of La Verne with my Bachelor’s in Psychology. I am currently finishing my Master’s from Loyola Marymount University, specializing in Urban Education with a concentration in Administrative Policies and currently working on obtaining my Multiple Subject Teaching Credential.
My family and I moved to the Antelope Valley in 2017 after deciding to make a career change from a law enforcement dispatcher to a teacher. I was the seventh grade teacher for two years and then took on the role of being the eighth grade homeroom teacher.
I believe that having a Catholic education provides students with a solid foundation to be successful in life. The values instilled in me when I attended my Catholic schools continue to resonate with me today and I can proudly say that the friendships I built in elementary school I still currently have. I believe that students here at Sacred Heart also deserve the quality education I received, the morals and values given to me, and the friendships that can truly last a lifetime.
