My name is Ann Marie Bertola and it is my privilege to teach at Sacred Heart School. With over 7 years of experience in elementary education, and 20 years of teaching combined, I am passionate about creating a nurturing and engaging classroom where every child feels valued and encouraged to reach their full potential.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Theology from Franciscan University and a Bachelors in Education from Anahuac University. I also hold a Masters in Theology from Franciscan University and a Master in Religious Sciences from the Pontifical Athenaeum Regina Apostolorum. I am acertified Spiritual Director and trained in leading people through the Ignatian Spiritual Exercises.
My goal is to provide a rigorous and engaging academic experience, while also bringing the children closer to God through prayer, learning, and the celebration of the sacraments. We explore the wonders of God’s creation through hands-on learning, critical thinking, and spending time with Him in the Eucharist. I have a heart for supporting families and my students as they navigate their growth and learning here at Sacred Heart School.
When I’m not teaching, I love spending time outdoors, gardening, and exploring new recipes in the kitchen. I am excited about the adventures that this school year will bring and can’t wait to get to know each of my students and their families!
